2019 District Council Ordinary Election Final Results: 2.94 million votes, 71.2% turnout

A total of about 2,940,000 registered electors have cast their votes in the 2019 District Council Ordinary Election yesterday (November 24), representing a provisional cumulative turnout rate of about 71.2%, according to the Registration and Electoral Office press release issued at HKT 1:09 on Nov 25.

2.94 million votes —— it’s a amazing number that reached a record high number of voters in Hong Kong history!

The people of Hong Kong has created a new record, they deserve more. There is no doubt that it is a sleepless but hopeful night. God bless Hong Kong!
