Change of Polling Station and Police Deployment Concerning District Council Election on November 24

Despite the government’s consecutive warnings of cancellation, the District Council Election scheduled on November 23, Sunday, is drawing near.

The government changed the location of several polling stations in rather short notice, as some voters expressed that they were not notified of the change.

Meanwhile, Police Commissioner Chris Tang said on Nov 22 that a high-profile presence of the police force around polling stations will make voters feel ‘safe’.
