White House fully supports Hong Kong bill

During a live broadcast on Thursday afternoon, Miles Kuo disclosed that President Trump expressed his full support for “Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act”.

Today, two senior U.S. senators began a “hotline” process for the U.S. Senate to quickly pass legislation that would place Hong Kong’s special treatment by the United States under extra scrutiny, a sign of support for pro-democracy protesters in the Chinese-ruled city.

In a Bill Gertz article publised on November 13, Former State Department official John Tkacik said: “While President Trump cannot intervene directly in Hong Kong, humanitarian-wise or otherwise, he has sent strong signals to Beijing over the past several months that China’s behavior in Hong Kong will shape new military and strategic relationships between America and Taiwan.”
