CUHK Students Provide Voluntary ‘School Bus’ Services

Nov. 13, 2019

Hong Kong – As the police mentioned in their press conference today, the campus of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is 140 acres large, three times the size of Vatican City. As a result, students normally need to take school bus to go to different parts of the ‘mountain city’, a nickname given by CUHK students for the size and surroundings of the university.

However, since the police siege of the university on Monday, the school bus services have been suspended. After carrying out research, students managed to drive the school bus at dawn and began to provide scheduled school bus services since 2 pm. Others used trucks and lawnmowers to bring people to different parts of the school.
