A woman yelled in anger: “My daughter was arrested just for heading downstairs to see what the commotion was”.
This is happening in Hong Kong now, almost every day. Police arrest teenage girls and boys randomly.
At around 4 pm on 10 November, at least 9 police vehicles entered Kenwood Court, Kingswood Villas, Tin Shui Wai, arresting 12 residents, the youngest being 12 years old.
Ms. Kong, a resident, stated that riot police stormed into the estate from the main entrance and at least 9 police vehicles simultaneously blitz in, flanking from both sides and arresting 3 teenagers in front of her. She criticized that police trespassing into a private estate and arresting citizens inside was “absolutely lawless”.
Residents from higher floors videoed that the vehicle gates were already raised, and the main entrance was opened when the police stormed into the estate. The security guards did not stop or question the police.
Residents were discontent with the security guards for allowing the police to enter the estate.
