Global Support: Toronto Stands With Hong Kong

November 2nd, in Toronto, a parade called “Emergency Call for Hong Kong Autonomy” was held. Nearly 400 people put on black masks and slogans such as “Condemn Police Brutality” and “Banish the Chinese Communist Party, Liberate Hong Kong”, paraded from Nathan Phillips Square to the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Toronto.

Jane, the organizer said that she hopes that the Canadian government can continue to protect human rights and freedoms by supporting Hong Kong’s human rights and freedoms with practical actions like the United States.

Famous Hong Kong political comics artist, Zunzi, also participated in the rally. He was grateful that the world is in solidarity with Hong Kong.【GM37】
