At 1 PM on November 3, some netizens launched a campaign in Seven Districts of Hong Kong against riot polices that were using excessive violence against civilians and accused them of abusing their power.
The police strengthened security in various districts and rushed into the shopping mall to disperse and arrest protestors. At one point in central Tai Koo Shing, riot police fired and pepper spray at residents. A freelance photographer was arrested during the interview.
At night, outside the central of Tai Koo Shing, a man took a long knife from his backpack and attacked those gathered at the scene, then shouted, “recover Taiwan!” in mandarin. Four people were wounded, two of them were in critical condition, including a man with a back injury, who lay on the ground and was given first aid by paramedics, leaving a large amount of blood on the ground.
