Notice on Further Strict Management and Control Measures for Overseas Travelers Entering Beijing
In view of the quick spread of the Coronavirus outbreak outside China, in order to effectively prevent the importing risk of the coronavirus epidemic from aboard, maximum control over the source of infections, and cut off the transmission route, Beijing takes further strict management and control measures for overseas travelers entering Beijing, hereby announces as follows.
- All the passengers entering Beijing from aboard MUST be transferred to the designated places for a 14-day medical observation, all expenses are at your own cost. It takes effect immediately. The elderly aged 70 or above, the minors aged 14 or below, pregnant women and others with underlying diseases who are not suitable for concentrated observation can be imposed home quarantine after strict evaluation.Don’t accept the application for home observation any longer, of those who live in a separate domicile and no other residents in the same residence.
- Those who qualify the standards for home quarantine should apply to the local residential communities before entering Beijing. Anyone whose home observation applications are not approved and those who don’t make any home observation applications MUST be transferred firstly to the designated places for medical observation. Those who qualify the standards of home observation, their 14-day observation time can be calculated together.
- Those entering Beijing from other domestic ports MUST report firstly their Beijing travel itinerary and relevant information to your employers and local residential communities. On arrival of Beijing, those must be imposed the management and control measures for overseas passengers from aboard. Anyone who conceals the history of living aboard will be held accountable under the law.
