Anthony Fauci, the head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, is an expert from the US White House Epidemic Prevention Team, saying during an interview on “Fox News Sunday” : “The United States may conduct a city closure to deal with the spread of Wuhan pneumonia.” He also added: ” “You know, you don’t want to alarm people, but given the spread we’ve seen, you know, anything’s possible. And that’s the reason why we’ve got to be prepared to take whatever action is appropriate to contain and mitigate the outbreak.”
Up to last update this Sunday, there are total 489 cases confirmed across the U.S and 19 death are reported. The top 3 mostly infected states are the Washington state, California and New York State and their number of confirmed cases are still increasing.
