On Feb 7, 2020, Communist China reported 31,211 confirmed, 4,821 severe and 637 deaths in all from the beginning of the coronavirus outbreak. On the same day, Epoch Times published a recording of a phone call conversation between a fake central inspection team member and a funeral home worker in Hubei Province.
In the recording, the funeral home worker emotionally expressed his depression due to long working hours. He told the fake inspector all his colleagues are under great pressure and he himself is about to collapse. Local government all focused on other matters and ignored the problem about the disposal of dead bodies. Their working load is 4-5 times more than that in a normal situation. None of the workers in his funeral home have had one day off since late December. When he was asked how many bodies they cremated yesterday, he declined to answer because he can not verify the caller’s identity. But he did say the number of dead bodies is increasing every day. They have been working at full capacity since Jan 23, 2019. They have about 110 workers and none of them can go back home due to long working hours and he himself worked over 20 hours in the past few days. He also mentioned he knows other funeral homes are even busier than his. This situation happens to every location in Wuhan.
When the fake inspector asked how many additional workers they need, he said they would need 40 to 50 workers based on the workload yesterday. They have 9 vehicles to transport corpses and they have to remove some of the seats on the vehicle so that each vehicle could contain 2 to 8 corpses.
According to the worker, the funeral home has 18 cremation incinerators but only 11 are in working conditions and the bad quality issue is due to the corruption of the local government. He also said It takes about 50 minutes to cremate one body. Based on these claims, we can calculate this funeral home alone would cremate about 100-200 dead bodies per day.
The worker also disclosed only about 38% of dead bodies are from hospitals. The majority of dead bodies are from communities. This proved again that the shortage of medical resources, people infected have nowhere to go and die at home.
